Ronald David Haynes - May 24, 1954 - May 5, 2024

Ronald David Haynes, age 69, of Forsyth, MO passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO. Ronnie was born on May 24, 1954, in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of the late D.J. and Mary Lou (Stucker) Haynes.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Baker) Haynes and his two sisters: Shelia (Don) Moran and Letha (Rick) Whitter.  He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Mary Sue Baker and brother-in-law, Marty (Laura) Baker along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Jenna Whitter.

Ronnie had served in the mission field in many countries; Ecuador, Croatia, Bosnia, El Salvador and Mexico to mention a few.  He was a volunteer firefighter and Director of MNA Disaster Response Ministries.  Ronnie responded and served those impacted after Hurricane Katrina, as well as 43 other disasters.  He also served the workers at Ground Zero following 9/11. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church - Forsyth. Ronnie served as deacon at Twin Oaks PCA and Spring Hills PCA, both being in the St. Louis area before they moved to Forsyth.  Ronnie loved the Lord and had a servant's heart and love for people in need. He was a great witness and warrior for the Lord.

Ronnie attended Fox High School in Arnold, MO and was a 1972 graduate. Ronnie was an avid fisherman and hunter. His hobbies were tying fishing lures, woodworking and organizing.

Celebration of Life services for Ronald D. Haynes, 69, Forsyth, will be held Friday, May 10, at 6PM, at Spring Hills Presbyterian Church, 6247 Upper Byrnes Mill Road, Byrnes Mill, MO. Pastor David Stain will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 5PM at the Church.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, MO.  Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Shriners Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
