Roy "Frank" Nivens, 60, of Branson.

Roy "Frank" Nivens, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024, in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 60. A celebration of life will be held September 7, 2024 at Branson Bible Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Frank was born on March 29, 1964, in Oklahoma to Roy and Florence Nivens. Frank graduated from Branson High School, where he formed a love for learning. His academic journey continued at Missouri Southern College and later at the College of the Ozarks, where he furthered his education and acquired skills for various trades.  Frank married the love of his life, Melodi on December 18, 1993 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas and to this union were blessed with their son Christopher, and made their home here in the Branson area for the past thirty-one years.

In his professional life, Frank found joy in the restaurant business, starting at Wayne's Restaurant, where he was known for his infectious smile and excellent service. His mechanical skills led him to a fulfilling career working on automobiles and planes. Frank's talents were also showcased through his work at the Branson Auto Show and his enjoyable time at the local hobby center, where he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with fellow hobbyists.

Frank's interests were as varied as they were engaging. He was exceptionally skilled with remote-controlled planes, trains, and cars, often found piloting his R.C. planes with precision and grace. His creative side shone brightly through his diamond artwork. For two decades, Frank delved into the world of ham radio, connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing stories across the airwaves.

Frank is preceded in his passing by his parents Roy and Florence.

Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Melodi, who was his partner in every aspect of life; his son, Christopher, who will carry forward his father's legacy; his brother, Jim Nivens, and his nieces, Rinette and Samantha.

Frank's life was a testament to the power of love for family and cherished friends. As we say goodbye to Frank Nivens, we celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the memories he leaves behind.
