Vicky Joan Brattin (Daniel), age 71, of Nixa, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born August 24, 1952 in Cassville, Missouri the daughter of Nick and Joan (Pierce) Vanderpool. On October 22, 1971 she was united in marriage to Danny Brattin, who preceded her in death on July 16, 1986. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Rick Vanderpool.
Surviving are her daughter, Joanna Sexton and her husband Steve of Nixa, Missouri and her three grandchildren, Monica Sexton of Rogers, Arkansas, Rylee Sexton of Nixa, Missouri and Axl Sexton of Nixa, Missouri; sister, Donna Vanderpool of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Charlie Vanderpool of Purdy, Missouri, and brother, Randy Vanderpool of Butterfield, Missouri.
Vicky graduated from Southwest High School in Washburn, Missouri. She was employed by Justin Boot as a stitcher for several years from where she retired. She also spent countless weekends/hours clerking for several local auctioneers. Vicky cherished every second she spent with her grandchildren and daughter. She had a lifelong hobby of embroidering, quilting, cooking and most of all taking care of all the people she loved. She had a very generous heart, was a Godly woman with a strong faith and was a member of North Point Church in Nixa. Vicky will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
