Wilma Ruth Saunders, age 91, of Cassville, Missouri.

Wilma Ruth Saunders, age 91, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas. 

She was born November 20, 1932 at Mineral Springs in Cassville, Missouri. On June 6, 1952 in Long Beach, California she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Saunders, who preceded her in death on June 16, 2022. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Stanley Saunders and two brothers, Donald Craig and Charles Craig. 

Surviving are one daughter, Diana Watkins and her husband Jim of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, Bill Craig of Cassville, Missouri; one sister, Loretta Pugh of Verona, Missouri and a grandson, Justin Etter of Cassville, Missouri. 

Wilma grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School in 1950. She was a homemaker her entire life. Wilma enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, and doing yardwork. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Laith Hayward will conduct the service. 

Contributions may be made to Mineral Springs Cemetery in memory of Wilma.
